PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! GOOD NEWS!

We recently announced on this homepage and by means of a mail shot that it was our intention to move our lives in a different direction and to close down Country Traditionals. To that end, we offered our pottery with a 20% discount from April onwards to start clearing our stock. The reaction from our customers has been overwhelming: all of you expressed distress at our decision and many of you have visited us online and in the Pottery Barn to stock up on Polish pottery.

In this period we have been approached by several people interested in taking over the business. We are delighted to announce that COUNTRY TRADITIONALS WILL NOT BE CLOSING!! We have found new owners who share our enthusiasm for the beautiful pottery that so many of you love so much and they will be taking over the reins from 1^st July. We feel sure they will lead Country Traditionals on to bigger and better things!

The Pottery Barn in Forest Row will remain open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10 am - 4 pm. You'll see the same helpful staff and you'll still get a cup of coffee. Online ordering will continue to be available via our website and the new owners will also be at the Country Living Christmas Fair at the Business Design Centre, November 11 - 15, on the usual stand by the Christmas tree.

The new owners have already placed an order to replenish the Pottery Barn stocks. As a gesture to those of you who have not yet been able to enjoy the discounted stock prices, WE WILL OFFER THE 20% DISCOUNT TILL SATURDAY 20^th JUNE IN THE POTTERY BARN ONLY. Discounts on online and telephone orders will stop from 30^th May.
